Eliezer's Struggle to Maintain Faith
We're all used to the sun and a bright sky, not many of us go out at night. I doubt any of you go for a night time walk through the woods by yourself. If you did, it would be easy to get lost. We second guess ourselves. Everything changes and looks different. The light in this picture represents God. Eliezer's life used to be full of his God. He felt surrounded by him. Now, he is thrown into darkness. He is lost. I choose this photo to represent Eliezer's struggle with his faith in God simply because of the contrast in light and dark. Throughout the book, there is so much darkness around him, it's hard for him to keep the light in sight. God is still there for him, he just doesn't look hard enough. There are bad people and darkness closing in all around him. It's hard for him to see any light. He feels blind.
