Eliezer's survival throughout the holocaust is solely caused by his desire to live and stay with his father. They became all each other had at the camps. Their love for one another is what kept them from giving up. All around him, Eliezer, see's hatred and sin. He swears he will never treat his father the way some had treated their's. He was more important to him than food.
I choose this photo because, as much as he tries to stay by his father, he is slowly seperating himself from him. In the back of his mind his is seeing him as a nuisance and he hates himself for that. He doesn't want to out of his life, but it would be easier for him in some situations if he was. godwillnspire.livejournal.com
